Who we are

Doorside Supply is run by the team behind AccVibe, an accessories company in Sugar Land, Texas. We run two mall stores and a wholesale brand that sells to several thousand independent shops through Faire, which means we pack a lot of small parcels and we have bought packaging from the same Shenzhen factories for years. Doorside Supply sells that packaging to shops like the ones we sell to, at the price we pay plus a margin we are willing to print. The name is the promise: the price you see is the price at your door, with shipping and US duties already paid.

Why we ship from Shenzhen

Small, dense packaging such as mailers, pouches, cards and stickers is cheap to make and cheap to fly. Shipping it straight from the factory hub skips a US warehouse, a second handling fee and a markup, and the saving is bigger than the duty. The trade is time: 10 to 14 business days instead of two. For restock items you can plan, that trade is worth it. For a box you need tomorrow, it is not, and we say so on the product page.

Bulky items do not work this way. A bundle of shipping boxes costs more to fly than to make, so we only carry small mailer boxes and point you to a US supplier for the rest.

Origin and compliance

• Country of origin. Products from the Shenzhen hub are made in China and marked "Made in China" on each pack. Products stocked in Texas that are made in the USA say so. We never imply that a China-origin product is American made.
• Importer of record. Doorside Supply LLC imports every shipment under its own customs bond through a licensed broker. The buyer is never the importer and never receives a duty bill.
• Duties paid. Prices include the general duty rate for each HTS heading, the Section 301 tariffs on China-origin goods, and clearance costs. The rate we pay is shown on each product page.
• Antidumping and countervailing duties. We do not import any product that falls under a US antidumping or countervailing order for China. Where a staple item is covered, such as tissue paper or paper shopping bags, we stock a US-made version in Texas instead.
• Product safety. Our products are packaging and store supplies for business use. We do not sell food-contact packaging, children's products or electronics. Products sold into California carry Proposition 65 warnings where required.
• Delivery promises. Every delivery window on this site is one we expect to meet. If we cannot, we tell you before it closes and refund if you ask, as the FTC's Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule requires.

What we do not sell, and why

These are items a packaging supplier would normally carry. We leave them out of the Shenzhen catalog for the reasons shown. Where we found a US-made alternative worth stocking, it ships from Texas.
